Company Driver

Heavy Crude Hauling is looking to hire a professional crude oil hauling driver to operate tractor-trailer units in the Lloydminster area. This is infield work. Must have a clean Class 1 driver's license and be legally entitled to work in Canada. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Operate tractor-trailer units
- Transportation of fluid to specific locations
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Daily maintenance
- Secure loads by using approved methods
- Conduct inspections along the way
- Follow local and interprovincial highway safety regulations
- Ensure truck, trailer, and axle weights meet regulatory requirements
- Keep records of loads for accurate billing
- Maintain vehicle log books, including fuel consumption, mileage, and hours of service
- Full compliance with HS&E Program
- Report all incidents and accidents
- Communicate with dispatchers on load requirements and locations
- Ensure that all duties are completed professionally, competently, and in the best manner possible

Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanics or Apprentice Mechanics

Heavy Crude Hauling LP has positions available for Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanics or Apprentice Mechanics.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to trucks and trailers
- In-house work on servicing our own equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Experience with triplex pumps and hydraulics would be an asset
- Use power tools and hand tools to assemble, disassemble, and maintain equipment
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to aid in repairs
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure equipment is in proper working order
- Perform heavy lifting and physical labour as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Heavy Crude Hauling LP is in search of experienced fluid hauling sub-contractors in the Ft. Kent/Bonnyville area. This is infield work, pulling triaxles, day and night shifts, 7/3 and 7/4. We offer competitive rates, group benefits, and long-term contracts.

Qualifications:
- Physically fit, with manual lifting up to 50 pounds
- Assist with rig in and rig out of equipment
- Position heavy equipment
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Work tickets are an asset, including First Aid, H2S, Confined Space, and Fall Arrest
- Class 3 driver's license would be beneficial, but is not required
- Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment
- Wear all personal protective equipment as required
- Safety tickets, including First Aid and H2S
- Pre-employment drug test is required

Welder

Career Opportunity

Heavy Crude Hauling LP has a position available for an Apprentice Welder.

Responsibilities include:
- Repairs and inspections of trailers, welding
- Will train on tank inspections
- Maintenance of trailers, trucks, and shop equipment
- Prepare confined space entry tests and use safe working procedures before entering units requiring repairs
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Maintain a list of all welding supplies used and required. Help keep track of stock and materials.
- Help develop good systems, procedures, and routines to utilize welding time in a safe and efficient manner.
- Make sure all tools and debris have been removed from interior and exterior of units.
- Ensure work orders are completed properly, including parts and hours.
- Know and follow all Heavy Crude company policies and safety rules
- Operation and maintenance of welder and associated equipment
- Comply with HS&E Standards and participate in system
